The Wood family has been restoring, building and conserving carriages at Fairbourne in the Garden of England, Kent, since 1971 when Nick and Jane started the business. It is now run by their sons, Duncan and Francis, who continue the family tradition since the death of Nick in 2011. Fairbourne Carriages has intimate knowledge of all crafts relating to coach building and this small family team aims to offer the highest standards traditionally associated with the English coachbuilder, to customers who simply want the very best.
